How do I know if the veges and fruit I am buying are really organic?
Anything that claims it is organic and doesn’t display any of these certification seals on their products is not certified organic.
Where to buy Organic Fruits & Veges?
The best option is to buy direct from farms!

Farms on the right track (not certified IFOAM organic):
- Adams Organic has a farm in Khorat which is certified by USDA (USDA as previously mentioned is not a strict standard. According to the USDA’s standards, organic does not mean pesticide free.) Their products can be found in the organic vegetable section of Gourmet Market (Emporium, Paragon), The Mall (various locations), Tops (Chidlom, Suk 19, Thonglor, Lat Prao), Various Foodland locations plus others.
- Lemon Farm – Probably the most well known brand name in the Organic Fruit and Veg scene in Bangkok, but I can’t find their organic certification anywhere. They are not IFOAM accredited nor ACT accredited and as such I find myself scratching my head as to how no one else could have wondered this exact same thing. Yet they are at every fair I go to and have shops scattered all around Bangkok. Hoping that soon, Lemon Farm will enlighten me with how exactly they are organic. Because if they are, then they are certainly the local leader in the organic market.
